Six Live Shows & Ozark Mountain Magic at Christmastime
Kick off the holiday season with five wonderful days of music, lights, and Ozark Mountain charm. From a relaxing overnight in Little Rock to three full nights in Branson — America's live entertainment capital all dressed up for Christmas — this tour is packed with six live shows, wonderful included meals, and plenty of time to shop, stroll, and take it all in. As always, we handle every detail so all you have to do is enjoy the ride.
The adventure begins as we board our deluxe motorcoach and leave the city behind, settling in for a comfortable ride north through Mississippi and into Arkansas. We make stops along the way and arrive in Little Rock by late afternoon, checking into the Embassy Suites Little Rock with baggage handling taken care of. Tonight we gather for an included dinner — the perfect way to relax, get to know your fellow travelers, and toast to the days ahead.
After a full breakfast, we're on our way to Branson. Late morning we arrive at Grand Village Shops for lunch on your own and a little browsing. This afternoon, local step-on guide Terry Sanders joins us for a Guided Scenic Ozark Tour — a wonderful introduction to the beauty and history of these rolling hills. Then it's time to check into our Branson home for the next three nights, the Branson Hillside Hotel. Tonight we enjoy dinner at Hero's Tastes + Taps, followed by our first show — the Dutton Family Show, bursting with talent from every generation of this remarkable musical family.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast — there's no early alarm today. Mid-morning we head to Branson Landing, the lively waterfront district along Lake Taneycomo, for lunch on your own and browsing. This afternoon, sing along to #1 Hits of the '60s at the Clay Cooper Theatre. Early this evening we're treated to a special Entertainer Reception and dinner at Pasghetti's, then cap the night with CJ Newsom's Classic Country & Comedy at The Americana Theatre.
After breakfast, we start the morning with Melody Hart & The All Star Band at The Showroom Theater. After lunch on your own, Dean Z: The Ultimate Elvis takes the stage at the Clay Cooper Theatre in an electrifying tribute you won't soon forget. This evening we sit down to a plated dinner at Landry's Seafood House, then close out our Branson stay with the Hughes Brothers Christmas Show — a dazzling holiday celebration featuring one of the largest performing families in the world.
After breakfast at the hotel, we say farewell to the Ozarks and begin our journey home, hearts full of holiday spirit and heads full of song. Comfortable rest and lunch stops along the way (lunch on your own), arriving back in the New Orleans area this evening with memories to carry you through the whole season.
Six live shows are included in the price: the Dutton Family Show, #1 Hits of the '60s, CJ Newsom's Classic Country & Comedy, Melody Hart & The All Star Band, Dean Z: The Ultimate Elvis, and the Hughes Brothers Christmas Show. That's a full lineup.
We stay three nights at the Branson Hillside Hotel, conveniently located near the Branson Strip. On the way up, we overnight at the Embassy Suites Little Rock.
